Yugioh Magiciangirl Wand Tutorial

*Sorry for my english I tried to explain it the best I could*

My page: www.facebook.com/m.cosplay

1. Decide the measurement you want for the wand. Remember the total measurement have to be with the top and bot part included.

2. Cut pvc pipe (make sure to leave additional pvc pipe in top and bot, for example if you decided to make your lenght 18 add 2 inches top and bot so u can place top and bot).

2.Make the top and bot part, for top I used insulation foam and bot a ball of foam (it was bigger so i used sanded it down for the size). And place it in the pvc to check if is the measurement you wanted in total.

3.Place top and bot and add the worbla (use the worbla to stick it to the pvc pipe since most of the glue eat the insulatioan foam)

4. To make the part the red arrow is pointing I used airclay to make the shape then bondo since airclay is too weak and it cracks but you can use epoxy clay.

5. For the rings I used also worbla.

6. Paint it and you done.

How to make a dragon tail

  1. Start with a pool tube and make this kind of cut: http://fc04.deviantart.net/fs31/f/2008/229/f/0/Dragon_Tail_WIP_by_Wolfbird.jpg
  2. Start Gluing the bot part (jus cut long rectangles and glue on top of another).
  3. After cutting a LOT of scales start gluing them . In my case I started from bot to top.
  4. To fill those triangles spaces just cut scales in a half and start gluing them in those spaces so it looks like the picture #5
  5. Test the tail.
  6. In my case since mine needs some kind of bumps like rocky look I used hot glue to make em.
  7. When you done and ready to paint it seal it with 2 layers of modge podge. ( I tested some color first).
  8. In the first pic appears all the paints I used and order. My base color its the black of the foam so I started with the dark red.
  9. Then Added bright red.
  10. Next highlight was orange.
  11. Last color applied was some metallic light gold on the corners and in some scales till the middle.
  12. For last detail I added just a lil bit of black in the rocky bumps.

I don’t force paint places that the sponge can’t reach because that’s what gives the effect of shadow with the base color in scale case. Like in the pic under the tutorial.

For Attachment I would recommend a belt.

How to make a Majora’s Mask out of Worbla
My page: www.facebook.com/m.cosplay
This took me about 2-3 days with the materials I had left. (it was a rush for a dance group) so you can do it better :) if you try it!
1. Use insulation foam to make the heart shape the size you need it.
2. Sand the corners down.
3. Cover the heart with plastic wrap so the foam don’t melt when you heating the piece of worbla in top of it. (The plastic wrap will stick to it but don’t worry when its completely cool u can take it out with no problem)
4. Painting progress!
5. To pop up the eyes I heated the eyes circle and used a tennis ball to pop em out (use at least one layer of plastic wrap so the ball don’t stick).
6. I forgot to take pics to the spikes but the spikes are made of insulation foam, when you cut and sand all the spikes, put 2 layers of wood glue including the bot part, after it dries paint them.
7. Glue the spikes and you are done!

  4. Draw the pattern on it and make a line under, there is where you conna cut it out.
  5. Cut the sections and paste the patterns to a paper adding up a space in the bot at least half inch. Then paste the patterns into foamy and cut them.

  1. Decide the size of your wings and make the skeleton with wire and some paper (white one i didn’t have white paper so used what i had).
  2. Add a hard piece in the U of the skeleton in my case used a book cover.
  3. Start glueing the long feathers first in the bot of the paper.
  4. Then add medium size feathers for the 2 next lines.
  5. Finish covering the next free space with smaller feathers.
  6. Repeat step 4 and 5 in the other side and remember also cover where the U wire is.
  7. Add the straps and you are done!
  8. A great tip: If you want to make yor wings string after doing the skeleton and glueing it to the base use copper wire (cover only top and the U).
